End-User License Agreement

Effective date: September 24, 2026

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between BKI Accounting ("BKI," "we," "us") and the person or organization that connects a QuickBooks Online company to BKI Sheets Sync ("you"). By connecting a QuickBooks Online company to the app, you agree to this Agreement.

1. The app

BKI Sheets Sync (the "App") is a private tool operated by BKI. It reads invoice information from a connected QuickBooks Online company and displays it in Google Sheets, for BKI's accounting, billing, and client reporting work. The App is not offered for sale or public distribution.

2. License

BKI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely to connect a QuickBooks Online company that you own or are authorized to access, and to view the resulting reports. You may not copy, modify, resell, sublicense, or reverse engineer the App, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

3. Authorization

By connecting a QuickBooks Online company, you confirm that you have the authority to grant BKI read access to that company's accounting data. You may disconnect the App at any time from within QuickBooks Online or by contacting BKI.

4. Data

The App requests read-only access to accounting data through Intuit's QuickBooks Online API. How that data is used and protected is described in the Privacy Policy below, which is part of this Agreement.

5. Third-party services

The App relies on services provided by Intuit Inc. and Google LLC. Your use of QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace remains subject to their own terms. BKI is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of those services.

6. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Reports shown in Google Sheets reflect QuickBooks Online data as of the last refresh and may not reflect the most recent transactions. QuickBooks Online remains the record of account.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BKI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the App. BKI's total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

8. Termination

BKI may suspend or end access to the App at any time. This Agreement ends automatically when you disconnect the App. Sections 5 through 9 survive termination.

9. Governing law and changes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. BKI may update this Agreement by posting a revised version with a new effective date; continued use of the App after an update means you accept it.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information BKI Sheets Sync (the "App"), operated by BKI Accounting ("BKI"), accesses from QuickBooks Online and how it is used.

Information we access

When a QuickBooks Online company is connected, the App reads open-invoice information: invoice number, customer name, invoice and due dates, invoice total, balance due, the customer-facing invoice message and line descriptions, and the invoice's online payment link. The App does not access bank account numbers, card numbers, payroll records, or login credentials.

How we use it

The information is used only to display open invoices in Google Sheets for BKI's billing and reporting work, including showing each customer its own open invoices and payment links. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train any model.

Where it is stored

Invoice information is written to Google Sheets owned by BKI's Google Workspace account. Authorization tokens issued by Intuit are stored in Google Apps Script's private property store for that account. BKI does not keep a separate database.

Who can see it

BKI can see all synced invoice data. Each customer is given view-only access to a sheet containing only its own invoices. BKI does not share the data with anyone else, except where required by law.

Security

Connections to QuickBooks Online use Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization over encrypted HTTPS. Access to the underlying Google Sheets is limited through Google's sharing controls.

Retention and disconnecting

Data in the sheets is replaced on each refresh with current open invoices. When the App is disconnected, it stops receiving data and its authorization tokens are deleted; on request, BKI will delete the synced sheets within 30 days.

Changes and contact
